Bluehost's pricing page shows a "Save 60%" label on its Starter plan. This guide explains what that number means, based on the page as we saw it on November 3, 2026.
Where the 60% comes from
The label appears on the Starter plan on the 36-month term. Bluehost shows $3.99 per month, renewing at $9.99 per month. The saving is measured against that renewal price: $3.99 is 60% less than $9.99. The other shared plans show smaller savings.
| Plan | Promo price (36 months) | Label | Renews at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $3.99/mo | Save 60% | $9.99/mo |
| Business | $6.99/mo | Save 50% | $13.99/mo |
| eCommerce Essentials | $14.99/mo | Save 32% | $21.99/mo |
How to get that price
On the pricing page, pick the 36-month term and choose Starter. The page we viewed did not ask for a coupon code. If a coupon field or a different price appears at checkout, trust what the checkout shows.
What the 60% does not mean
- It is not a discount on your renewal. Bluehost says promotional prices are valid for the initial term only.
- It is not available on every term. The price changes if you choose 12 months.
- It does not include taxes, which the pricing page says are not included.
Is it the best price?
It is the lowest monthly price on the page, but you commit for 36 months, and the renewal price is about two and a half times higher. Work out what you will pay over your real timeline with our renewal cost guide, and read the Bluehost review for plan limits. Starter has no phone support. Current offers are on the Bluehost pricing page.
